This video is a criticism on the expectations that society has placed on women. The idea that women must wake up two hours earlier each day to do face contouring is both absurd and emotionally distressing today's woman. In this film, the intention is that the viewer will not only see the physical damage done to these three women, but also understand the mental and emotional damage done to them as well. 

The suit. 
Intended to protect me from my insecurities, this suit of armor was constructed 100% out of crocheted yarn, and bed sheet from head to toe.
The video is a compilation of images taken by Chelisse Perry and shows the subject (me) searching for a place to belong where they will be accepted, imperfections, insecurities, and all.
